PAIM process variable values

Use the
General
tab on the
PAIM Properties
 dialog box to monitor values for the process variable (PV) inputs for Process Multi Sensor Analog Input (PAIM) instructions.
To monitor process variable values for PAIM instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. When online with the controller, monitor the
    Device state
     and
    Device issues
     indicators at the bottom left of the dialog box:
    • Device state
      . Displays the current device status: PV good, PV uncertain, or PV bad.
    • Device issues
      . Displays fault conditions: None, Any reject, Min good, Fail, or Configuration error.
  3. Monitor the input values for the process variable and signals.
    TIP: Use the
    Advanced
    tab to add labels for the inputs. Use the
    HMI
    tab to add a label that identifies the units for the inputs.
