Our UK Customer Demo Centre is based in our Milton Keynes office. It is a dedicated facility showcasing our latest hardware and software products in typical networked system architectures.
The Customer Demo Centre is divided into five Key areas each outlined below:
FactoryTalk Software is integrated throughout the customer demo centre, and with a specific area to show how we can capture plant floor data and offer solutions to allow operators, engineers and business managers to make the right decisions to maximise plant efficiency.
Recent additions demonstrate how mobility is being used in the modern workplace.
The Industrial Data Centre area includes a number of partner products to highlight the hardware options to run your virtual software machines.
Virtual PC images simplify the life cycle costs for PC support and offer a platform for increased system availability in the industrial environment.
We have an example of our Centerline Motor Control Centre systems designed around safety, performance, and reliability, alongside an innovative machine based around our iTRAK integrated motion control system.
Both of which are located in the main area of the customer demo centre.
Several Automation controllers are running applications to represent our integrated solutions for: Motion Control, Machine Safety, AC Drives, RFID and Operator Interface.
This Integrated Architecture provides a straight forward format for device connectivity and configuration that delivers simpler, easier to maintain systems even for the most complex solutions.
The PlantPax area shows how a modern DCS integrates process instrumentation through various high availability architectures into the control room and on to a company’s business systems.
Preventative maintenance is an expanding area of interest and an example of our condition based monitoring solution has also been integrated into this area.
The complete demonstration facility is networked using EtherNet/IP. Based on standard Ethernet this unmodified networking approach provided the easiest method for Operational Technology (OT) with IT. This IT/OT network has a Converged Plantwide Ethernet guide, available online. All of this can be discussed and viewed in detail, including the reference architectures described therein.
