Error reading the list of running drivers from RSLinxClassic or FactoryTalk Linx

This error occurs after shutting down

RSLinx Classic

or

FactoryTalk Linx

while the

Logix Designer

application is still running, and then selecting a driver in the application. Shut down and restart the application.

This error also occurs if

RSLinx Classic

or

FactoryTalk Linx

is not installed, or if there is a problem with the

RSLinx Classic

or

FactoryTalk Linx

installation on the computer.
