Source Control > Check Out command

Choose this command to initiate a check out operation.
Note that this menu item displays only if all of the following conditions exist:
  • an open project exists
  • either the
    Logix Designer
     application has automatically drawn an association between the open project and one under source control, or you have explicitly established that association.
