Start FLEX I/O Analog Module Calibration
You should not perform calibration on a module currently used for control. The calibration process will impair control.
Before starting the calibration process:
- Stop the process your output module is controlling.
- Apply any configuration changes using the Apply button.
- Inhibit the module’s connection (via the Connection tab Inhibit checkbox).
- Disconnect input signals and connect test signals. Any type of control dependent on the normal input signals from this module does not have them during calibration.
- Disconnect output signals and connect the appropriate measuring instrument. Any control system dependent on the outputs from this module, do not have them during calibration.
To start the calibration process:
- Position the cursor on the module you want to calibrate.
- Right click the mouse button and select Properties.
- Select the Connection tab.
- Check the Inhibit checkbox.
- Click the Apply button if you made any configuration changes.
- Select the Calibration tab.
- Determine which channels you want to calibrate. Uncheck the channels, in the Calibrate This Channel checkbox, that you do not want to calibrate.
- Click the Start Calibration button to begin the process. The software guides you through the calibration process.

- OK to accept your edits and close the dialog.
- Cancel to delete your edits and close the dialog.
