Select a recent communications path to apply to your project.
To select a recent communications path to apply to your project
  1. Select the communications configuration you wish to use from the Controller/Path list.
    The list provides you with information on:
    • which controller was used
    • which driver was used
    • the CIP path to the controller
  2. Select the
    Set Project Path
     button if you wish to always use this path for this project.
    You can always change the path later if you like.
  3. Select the
    Go Online
     button if you would like to go online with the controller, or upload or download using this path.
  4. Select the Show Only Paths Matching Serial Number in Project box if you want to restrict the path list to only those path(s) where the selected controller was installed.
  5. Select
    OK
    to accept your selection and close the Select Recent Communications Path dialog without going online.

To access the Select Recent Communications Path dialog box,from the Communications menu, choose
Select Recent Path
. You can also access this dialog by selecting on the down arrow to the right of the path in the Path bar.
