Monitor PVLVS status and parameters

Use the
General
 tab of the
PVLVS Properties
dialog box to monitor the instruction status and parameter values for the Process Valve Statistics (PVLVS) instruction/function block.
To monitor the status and parameters of PVLVS instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>

  2. Open the
    General
    tab.
  3. View the read-only parameters:
    • Stroke attempts
      .
      • Closed
        . Count of complete device close strokes (Opened to Closed), incomplete device close strokes (Opened – Moving – Opened), and device slow to open occurrences.
      • Open
        . Count of complete device open strokes (Closed to Opened), incomplete device Open strokes (Closed – Moving – Closed), and device slow to open occurrences.
      • Norma
        l. Count of device stopped/other occurrences.
    • Time in State
      .
      • Closed
        . Current time in closed state, time in closed state last time device was closed, maximum time in closed state of any occurrence, Accumulated time in closed state.
      • Closing
        . Current time in closing state, time in closing state last time device was closing, maximum time in closing state of any occurrence, accumulated time in closing state, moving average close stroke time, last ten complete close strokes.
      • Opened
        . Current time in opened state, time in opened state last time device was opened, maximum time in opened state of any occurrence, accumulated time in opened state.
      • Opening
        . Current time in opening state, time in opening state last time device was opening, maximum time in opening state of any occurrence, accumulated time in opening state, moving average open stroke time, last ten complete open strokes.
      • Normal
        . Current time in stopped/other state, time in stopped/other state last time device was stopped (or other), maximum time in stopped state of any occurrence, accumulated time in stopped state.
    • Clear
      . Command to clear stroke count, device slow count, maximum time and moving average stroke time’s statistics.
    • Device issues
      . Error in configuration.
    • Valve Operation Status
      . The last opened to closed stroke or closed to opened stroke exceeded configured time threshold. If state change is within configured time, threshold valve is operating as expected.
