Attach a High Reference source to the selected channels.
Attach High Reference Signals
includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Channel
Shows the channels available to calibrate.
Calibrate
Identifies the channels selected in the previous window.
Calibration Range
Shows the value currently configured for the channel.
  • For the 1756-IF8I device:
    • The calibration range shows 0 mA to 20 mA when the
      Input Type
      is Current.
    • The calibration range shows -10 V to 10 V when the
      Input Type
      is Voltage.
  • For the 1756-IR12 device the calibration range shows 0 Ohms to 500 Ohms when the
    Input Type
    is RTD.
  • For the 1756-IRT8I device:
    • The calibration range shows 0 Ohm to 500 Ohms when the
      Input Type
      is RTD.
    • The calibration range shows -100 mV to 100 mV when the
      Input Type
      is Thermocouple.
  • For the 1756-IT16 device, the calibration range shows -100 mV to 100 mV when the
    Input Type
    is Thermocouple.
High Reference
Shows the value of the high reference source based on the channel configuration.
  • For 1756-IF8I channels, the value is 10 V for Voltage and 20 mA for Current.
  • For 1756-IRT8I channels, the value is 100 mV for Thermocouple input signals and 487 Ohms for RTD input signals.
