Create or edit a VLAN

Use the
Smartports and VLANs
 view to create a new VLAN or edit an existing VLAN.
Prerequisites
  • The device is online.
To create a new VLAN or edit an existing VLAN
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    Smartports and VLANs
    .
  2. In the
    Smartports and VLANs
     view, do one of these two actions:
    • To create a new VLAN, select add.
    • To edit an existing VLAN, select edit.
  3. In
    Add/Edit VLAN
    , configure the parameters as needed.
    TIP:
    When creating a new VLAN, give the VLAN a name and a unique ID number.
