Reset a device
If the changes made in the view require that the device return to its power-up state, select
Reset
Device
in the view to emulate the cycling of power.
IMPORTANT:
Resetting the device interrupts the connection to the device and to any other device that is connected through it. Connections from other controllers may also be interrupted.
Ensure a connection interruption at this time is acceptable. You should not interrupt the connection on a device that is currently being used for control.
To reset a device
- On the tab for the device, selectDevice Information.
- In theDevice Informationview, selectResetDevice.
- InApply changes, selectYes.
