Device Level Ring view parameters

The
Device Level Ring
view includes these parameters.
Parameter
Description
Ring
Indicates the ring ID to which this configuration applies.
Enable
Indicates that DLR is enabled on
Port 1
and
Port 2
for the ring. If the box is cleared, DLR is disabled and
Port 1
and
Port 2
are not available for configuration.
Port 1
Specifies the first ring port. The default is
None
.
Port 2
Specifies the second ring port. Port 1 and Port 2 cannot be the same port. The default is
None
.
Supervisor Enabled
Displays
True
if the switch is a ring supervisor or
False
if the switch is a ring node. Enable
Supervisor Mode
in the
Ring
view.
Ring Status
Displays the current status of the ring. Available values:
  • Normal
  • Ring Fault
  • Unexpected Loop Detected, Partial Network Fault
  • Rapid Fault/Restore Cycle
Redundant Gateway Enabled
Displays
True
if the redundant gateway is enabled or
False
if the redundant gateway is disabled. Enable
Redundant Gateway
in the
Redundant Gateway
view for the applicable ring.
Redundant Gateway Status
Displays the current condition of the ring fault.
DHCP Server Role
Displays the role of the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server obtained from the switch. Available values:
  • Disabled
  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Backup
DHCP Server Status
Displays the status of the DHCP server. Available values:
  • Normal operation
  • Table-ring size mismatch
  • Table-ring order mismatch
  • IP address conflict
  • Unknown
Refresh
Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device.
Set
Sends the settings to the switch. The
Enter password
dialog box may appear.
