Ring X - Redundant Gateway view parameters

The
Ring X - Redundant Gateway
 view includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Enable Redundant Gateway
Indicates that the redundant gateway is enabled. The redundant gateway must be enabled before adjusting the parameters.
Default:
Disabled

Advertise Interval
Specifies the time interval in microseconds for the redundant gateway to transmit advertise messages.
Acceptable values: 1000 to 100,000 microseconds.
Default: 2000 microseconds.
Advertise Timeout
Specifies the duration of time for nodes to wait before timing out in the absence of received advertise messages.
Acceptable values: 2500 to 500,000 microseconds.
Default: 5000 microseconds.
Precedence
Specifies the values for the precedence of the redundant gateway. You can configure multiple gateways and assign each gateway a precedence value.
Available values:
  • None
    : 0
  • Primary
    : 255
  • Backup 1
    : 100
  • Backup 2
    : 90
  • Backup 3
    : 80
  • Custom
    : 0-255
Enable Sending Learning Update Frame
Indicates that the learning update messages are enabled.
Default:
Enabled

Gateway Uplink Ports
Indicates the uplink ports that are enabled on the redundant gateway.
Refresh
Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device.
Set
Sends the settings to the switch. The
Enter password
 dialog box may appear.
