Add/Edit NAT Instance - Advanced view parameters

Advanced
view includes these parameters.
Parameter
Description
Traffic Permits
The types of incoming and outgoing packets that are not handled by NAT.
  • Non-Translated Addresses
  • Multicast
  • IGMP
Incoming
Specifies how to handle each type of incoming packet.
  • Pass-Through – permit the packets to pass across the NAT boundary
  • Blocked (default) – drop the packets
Outgoing
Specifies how to handle each type of outgoing packet.
  • Pass-Through – permit the packets to pass across the NAT boundary
  • Blocked (default) – drop the packets
Fixup Packets
Indicates that the fixup protocols are enabled. If cleared, the fixup protocols are disabled.
  • ARP (Address Resolution Protocol), selected by default
  • ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol), selected by default
Refresh
Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device.
Set
Sends the settings to the switch. The
Enter password
dialog box may appear.
