Advanced dialog box parameters

The
Advanced
dialog box contains these parameters.
Parameter
Description
Traffic Permits
The types of incoming and outgoing packets that are not handled by NAT. Available values:
  • Multicast
  • IGMP
Incoming
Specifies how to handle each type of incoming packet. Available values:
  • Blocked
    (default) – drop the packets
  • Pass-Through
    – permit the packets to pass across the NAT boundary
Outgoing
Specifies how to handle each type of outgoing packet. Available values:
  • Blocked
    (default) – drop the packets
  • Pass-Through
    – permit the packets to pass across the NAT boundary
Fixup Packets
Specifies the fixup protocols to be enabled. Available options are:
  • ARP
    - Indicates that the fix up protocols for ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) are enabled. If cleared, the fix up protocols are disabled.
  • ICMP
    - Indicates that the fix up protocols for ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol) are enabled. If cleared, the fix up protocols are disabled.
