Network view parameters

Use the
Network
view to view information about the Device Level Ring (DLR) network.
Parameter
Description
Network mode
Indicates that the device profile is online to a Device Level Ring (DLR) capable device.
Network topology
Displays the current network topology as either:
  • Linear/Star
    , or
  • Ring
Network status
Displays the current network status as:
  • Normal
  • Ring Fault
    , or
  • Unexpected Loop Detected
Supervisor
Enable supervisor mode
Indicates that the device is configured as a supervisor on the network. If cleared,
Supervisor Mode
is disabled, and the device is not a supervisor on the network.
Supervisor status
Displays the status of the supervisor. Only available when
Supervisor Mode
is enabled. Available values:
  • Active
    - device is the Active Ring Supervisor
  • Backup
    - device is the backup ring supervisor
  • Cannot support current Beacon Interval or Timeout
    - devices cannot support either the Beacon Interval or Beacon Timeout values of the current Active Ring Supervisor
Active ring supervisor
Displays the IP Address or MAC Address of the Active Ring Supervisor.
Only available when the device is in a Ring network.
Active supervisor precedence
Displays the precedence currently assigned to the active ring supervisor.
Only available when the device is in a Ring network.

to configure advanced network properties.
Ring Fault
Ring faults detected
Displays the number of ring faults detected on the network since the last power cycle or counter reset.
Only available when the device is a ring supervisor.
Last active node on Port 1
Last active node on Port 2
Displays the IP or MAC Address for the last active node on Port 1 or Port 2 when the device is the Active Ring Supervisor on the network.
Reset Counter
Used to reset the device's ring fault count to zero.
Only available when the device is a ring supervisor.
Verify Fault Location
Causes the device to verify the last node fault location on port 1 and port 2 and update the last active node parameters.
The last active node parameters show information from the last fault until you verify the fault location.
Only available when the device is a ring supervisor.
Port Buffer Utilization
Port 1
Port 2
Displays the percentage of the buffer that is being used for port 1 and port 2.
Device port
Displays the percentage of the device port that is being used.
Refresh
Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device.
