Switch Status view parameters

The
Switch Status
view includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Alarms & Faults
Active Alarms
Displays the active switch and port alarms. Available values are:
  • None
  • Port alarm
  • Dual Mode Power Supply alarm
  • Primary Temperature alarm
Major Alarm Relay
Shows whether the major alarm relay is configured open or closed during normal operation. Available values are:
  • Open
  • Closed
Active Faults
Displays the active switch and port faults. Available values are:
  • None
  • Port fault
  • Hardware fault
Tip
: If the port and hardware faults are active, the Hardware fault is displayed.

Displays the current version of the switch operating system.
License File
Displays the status of the license file. Available values are:
  • OK
  • Corrupt
    (Lite Functionality Only)
SD Card Present
Displays
Yes

, indicating whether an SD card is present.
Health
Switch Uptime
Displays the years, months, weeks, days, hours, and minutes that the switch has been functioning since the last reboot.
Switch Temperature
Displays the current internal temperature (in degree Celsius) of the switch.
Bandwidth Utilization
Displays the total percentage of the switch bandwidth being used.
Traffic Threshold Exceeded on Any Port

5410 switch, displays the type of power supplies installed. This switch can have two power supplies. Available values are:
  • None
    - No power supply is present.
  • AC
    - AC power supply is present and the status is good.
  • DC
    - DC power supply is present and the status is good.
  • AC - Fault
    - AC power supply is present and the status is fault.
  • DC - Fault
    - DC power supply is present and the status is fault.
Blink System Status Indicators to Identify Switch
Indicates the switch to which the application is communicating.
  • When this checkbox is selected, the LED on the front panel blinks for four minutes to indicate communication, and then resumes normal operation.
  • When this checkbox is not selected, the LED on the front of the panel stops blinking.
Time Remaining
Displays the amount of time, in minutes:seconds, that the LED on the front panel of the switch blinks.
Refresh
Retrieves and displays the latest values from the device.
