When a user calls, the user should be at the computer and prepared to give the following information:
  • The product name and version number.
  • The exact wording of any errors or messages that appeared on the screen.
  • A description of what happened and what actions took place when the problem occurred.
  • A description of the previous attempt used to solve the problem.
