Stop Processes / Services

In order to uninstall the DataView application, first all the third-party services need to be stopped and uninstalled. Next FTA Security is uninstalled and lastly DataView is uninstalled.
Perform the following steps to stop the services:
  1. In the Search box of Task Bar, search for “Services”. Click [Services] in the search results to open the Windows Service management console. Stop the following services:
    1. FT ActivationDataView
    2. FT ActivationDataImporter
    3. Elasticsearch
    4. FTA Security
    5. PostgreSQL
    6. FactoryTalk Activation Helper
    7. FactoryTalk Activation Service
    8. FactoryTalk Activation Websocket Service
