Upgrade 4.00.00 to 4.01.00

This installer allows user to upgrade from DataView 4.00.00 to DataView 4.01.00.
To Rehost and use the existing Activation Licenses, follow the steps in the “Rehost Activation” section.
NOTE:
If the User does not rehost the Activation Licenses, the existing licenses still are valid and usable.
NOTE:
Take the backup of the
application.properties
 and
dataimporter.properties
 files before initiating Upgrade.
  1. Go to Settings and click [Apps and Features].
  2. Click on the following services, click [Uninstall]. A uninstall dialog displays, click [Uninstall] in the following order:
    • FactoryTalk Analytics DataView
    • FactoryTalk Activation Websocket Service
    • FactoryTalk Activation Manager
      Uninstall
      This action will reboot the machine for the changes to take effect.
  3. Turn on the machine to start upgrade and ensure that the PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch services are running.
