Getting Started

The Admin User creates the new User profile with a username and a temporary password.
  1. In the browser, use the provided URL:
    https://<FQDN-hostname>/dataview
    • FQDN-hostname, FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name):
      Server or domain where the application is deployed.
    • Port:
       The default HTTPS port is 443. The port number may vary based on the  installation and configuration.
  2. Provide Username and Password provided by the Admin User and click [Login].
    IMPORTANT:
    The Admin will need to import new Users using the DataView Admin Console.
  3. The change password screen displays. Enter the new password and click [Submit].
    IMPORTANT:
    Use a complex password as per the company policy.
  4. Provide Username and the new Password and click [Login].

  5. The home page displays. Click the [View Terms & Conditions] link available on the bottom-right side to read the Rockwell Automation End-User License Agreement ("EULA").

  6. The EULA document opens in a new tab. Read the agreement carefully and close the EULA tab.
