NOTE:
Creating the certificates is necessary for installation. Ideally, customers should already have their own certified certificates.
  • Installing the product using the Advanced Installer, user can get the scripts and the configuration files are located in private-CA directory.
  • Go to <Installation Directory>/FTASecurity and unzip FTASecurity-4.00.00.39.zip.
    Example: /opt/rockwell/fta-security/private-CA
  • Installing the product using the Installer, user can download private-CA file from the following Rockwell Software Customer Download site where software was obtained:
    https://compatibility.rockwellautomation.com/pages/search.aspx?crumb=117&q=FactoryTalk%20Analytics

There are two configuration files. The first is called open-ssl.sh. The second, openssl.cnf, is the configuration file used by the OpenSSL command line tool.
