Prerequisites
Before installing
Data Explorer, make sure you have the following in place:
- A Windows 10 or Windows Server environment with recommended memory of 16 GB or greater.
- A valid FactoryTalk Activation license file. You will need a serial number and product key. FactoryTalk Activation 4.0 is included in the installer and updates during the Data Explorer installation if an earlier version is installed locally.
- Data files in XLS or CSV formats.
