Creating Your First Model

One of the first steps you may want to take with DataMosaix is to create some assets using an Asset Hierarchy. You can do this in the DataMosaix Management Console.

If the set of assets is too extensive to manually enter, or you have a better data source, you can create assets using a SQL extractor to a set of Raw tables and write transformations. This is covered in the Cognite fundamental training. No matter what method you use, you can make minor changes to the assets in the Management Console with the appropriate role.
