Regenerate Secret for Application

  1. On the Management Console, select the
    Applications
     tab.
    The
    Applications Listing
     page is displayed.

  2. In the
    Actions
     column, click the Edit icon next to the application for which you want to regenerate the client secret.

    The Application detail screen displays with the existing client secret and the
    Regenerate Secret
     link.

  3. Click the
    Regenerate Secret
     link.
    A message displays waiting for confirmation to regenerate secret.

    NOTE:
    Generating a new client secret makes the existing client secret invalid. After generating the new secret, you must update the client secret information in the required files.
  4. Click
    Yes, Regenerate
    .
    The Applications Detail page displays the new client secret.

  5. Click
    Copy Secret
     to copy and save the new client secret.
    • Open a text file, paste the new client secret, and save the file.
    NOTE:
    It is important to copy the client secret and update it in the related files. Once you close this screen, this information cannot be viewed later. If you fail to save the client secret information, you will have to regenerate the secret.
  6. Click
    Done
