Restore a project

If a project is corrupted or unwanted changes are saved, you can restore an earlier version of the project.
  1. Close the program if the project is running in
    FactoryTalk Optix Studio
    .
  2. From the
    %localappdata%\Rockwell Automation\FactoryTalk Optix\Studio\Backups\[Project Name]
     folder, copy the entire folder of the desired backup.
  3. Paste the folder in a location other than that of the current project or delete the current project folder and paste the new folder in the same location.
  4. Open the project in
    FactoryTalk Optix Studio
    .
