Groups
Groups identify a set of users and are useful for classifying users who have common characteristics and responsibilities. This classification is typically for the purpose of creating security profiles or for showing or hiding graphic objects in a runtime application.
Define a hierarchy of users into groups to classify users at different levels. For example, create groups in a hierarchy of administrators, operators, and guests. Associate users of an upper-level group with lower level groups. For example:
- Admin. A top-level group visible to all administrators, operators, and users.
- Operator. A mid-level group visible to all operators and users.
- Users. A lower-level group visible to all users.
