Create alarm triggers

Create switches that trigger different kinds of alarms on demand.
  1. Create a switch that triggers warning alarms:
    1. In
      Project view
      , right-click
      MainWindow (type)
      and select
      New
      Base controls
      Switch
      .
    2. Hover-over the switch, select
      Edit
      , and enter
      TriggerWarning
      .
    3. In
      Properties
      , create a dynamic link between
      Active
      and
      ProjectName
      Model
      WarningAlarmVariable
      .

  2. Create a warning trigger label:
    1. In
      Project view
      , right-click
      MainWindow (type)
      and select
      New
      Base controls
      Label
      .
    2. Hover-over the label, select
      Edit
      , and enter
      TriggerWarningLabel
      .
    3. In
      Properties
      , set
      Text
      to
      Trigger a warning alarm
      .
  3. Create a switch that triggers error alarms:
    1. In
      Project view
      , right-click
      MainWindow (type)
      and select
      New
      Base controls
      Switch
      .
    2. Hover-over the switch, select
      Edit
      , and enter
      TriggerError
      .
    3. In
      Properties
      , create a dynamic link between the
      Active
      property and
      ProjectName
      Model
      ErrorAlarmVariable
      .

  4. Create an error trigger label:
    1. In
      Project view
      , right-click
      MainWindow (type)
      and select
      New
      Base controls
      Label

    2. Hover-over the label, select
      Edit
      , and enter
      TriggerErrorLabel

    3. In
      Properties
      pane, set
      Text
      to
      Trigger an error alarm
      .
