Restore a project

Restore a project

If a project is corrupted or unwanted changes are saved, you can restore an earlier version of the project.
  1. Close the project.
  2. From the
    %localappdata%\Rockwell Automation\FactoryTalk Optix\Studio\Backups\[Project Name]
     folder, copy the entire folder of the desired backup.
  3. Paste the folder in a location other than the current project location, or delete the current project folder and paste the new folder in the same location.
  4. Open the project.
