Language displayed at runtime
The language that appears at runtime depends on several circumstances.
- User locale. The language displayed at runtime is the language of the locale of the user. If a term is translated into a language other than the language for the locale of the user, the system searches languages in order of preference. See Configure session and fallback locales.
- Presentation Engine. The Presentation Engine manages the user interface based on the connected user. Configure the user in the Presentation Engine before design time or at Runtime. See Presentation engines.
- Session. The default language of a new session is the locale language of the user. You can change the locale language of a session independent of the locale language of the user. See Set options.
