Configure module log levels
By default, the
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
Output
pane shows all warnings, information, and error messages for all modules. Advanced mode allows you to display verbose messages.Specify the maximum level of log information to appear on the Output pane for specific modules or all modules. Logs are saved in the System log regardless of the maximum level of information display in
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
. Storing unnecessary data may reduce performance.- In theFactoryTalk Optix Studiotitle bar, selectFactoryTalk Optix Studio Options
- InFactoryTalk Optix Studio Options, selectAdvanced modeand selectSave.
- RestartFactoryTalk Optix Studiofor the Advanced mode to take effect.
- In theFactoryTalk Optix Studiotitle bar, select the drop-down arrow afterFactoryTalk Optix Studio OptionsModule log levels configuration.
- InModule log level configuration, inDefault level, select the default information level to appear in theOutputpane:
- Error. Error messages.
- Warning. Warning messages.
- Info. Information messages.
- Verbose 1. First level verbose message for troubleshooting.
- Verbose 2. Second level verbose message for troubleshooting.
- After each module, select the information level to display messages if the level is not the same as the specifiedDefault level.
- SelectClose.
