Create an object type

When you create an object type, the original object from which you create the type becomes an instance of the new type.
  1. From
    Project view
    , drag an object into a folder in
    Type view
    .
  2. (optional) In
    Properties
    , select
    Add
    , select
    Display name
    , and enter the display name.
  3. (optional) In
    Properties
    , select
    Add
    , select
    Description
    , and enter the description.
The new object type appears in
Type view
 and
Project view
.
The hover-over tooltip shows the display name and description.
