Rename a role

Rename a role to change the name of the role to which users are assigned. For example, rename a Supervisor role to Manager role. You can rename one role at a time.
Rename a role from either the dashboard page or
Project view
.
  1. Either:
    • Select
      Open dashboard page
       and then select
      Manage user and groups
      .
    • In
      Project view
      , expand
      Security
       and
      Roles
      .
  2. Under
    Roles
    , right-click the role to rename.
  3. Select
    Rename
     and type a new name for the role.
    To rename a role from
    Project view
    , right-click the role, select
    Rename
    , and then enter the new name.
The role is renamed on the dashboard page and in
Project view
.
