Start page

The Start page opens when you launch
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
 to create or open a project.
The Start page allows you to open and create projects using three views:

Home

Create a
Default
 project that contains all
Project view
 categories and a preconfigured main window or create an
OptixPanel
 project that contains preconfigured widgets for that device. You can search for a recent project or filter projects to see local or remote projects.

New

Create a
Default
 project that contains all
Project view
 categories and a preconfigured main window or create an
OptixPanel
 project that contains preconfigured widgets. When creating a new project, use version control to create committed versions of the project that you can later compare and restore. 

Open

Open a recent or remote project. When opening a remote project, enter a
Remote URL
 to clone a repository and create a project with the same name as the repository, or enter a
Location
 to open an existing project in the remote repository.
