Instruction Usage Analysis Details

Instruction Usage Analysis Details
lets you access, view, and export, the instruction details of your Studio 5000 Logix Designer® Programs and Routines that are in FactoryTalk® Vault™.
When you select
Details
from the Instruction Usage Analysis card, the instruction Usage page for the selected Studio 5000 Logix Designer project appears.
From the Instruction Usage page which appears you can see the
Instruction type/Programs
in your project, the
Routines
in each Instruction type/Program, the
Quantity
of routines at each level of Instruction type/Program, and whether Inputs and Outputs are enabled (Enable In/Out). Select the right arrow next to each Instruction type/Program line to expand it to drill down to the level of the Routines contained inside. At the top level of each section, you see the total Quantity of Routines. The lines for individual Routines show the quantity of that that particular routine.
Use the
Export
button at the top of the page to export your project instructions to either a CSV or an Excel file. Select the
Search
control to display a list of individual Instruction types or Programs in your project which can then be exported or analyzed individually. Any item in the table can be searched. After viewing or exporting an individual routines. select the x next to
Search
to go back to the full project.
In addition, you can select the
View Source
control to open the source file for your project as well as to compare to other versions if they are in FactoryTalk Vault. You can search for individual elements by opening the search control. To compare other versions, select the Down Arrow next to the
Selected Version
line at the top of the
View and Compare Content
page and then selecting
Go To Compare
. Use the Aa+ and Aa- buttons to enlarge and reduce the size of the text in your source code display.
