Input Config Tab FLEX I/O Digital

Use this tab to configure either the Input Filter Time or Input Delay Time (module dependent) for the module you are using.
Tip:
If you selected a Listen-Only communication format when you created the module, this tab is not available.
Parameters
Input Filter Time (ms)
On->Off/Off->On
Use this feature to filter-out transients in noisy environments. Select a value (in milliseconds) by which to delay the transition from On to Off or from Off to On. Choose one of the following modules that use Input Filter Times to select the values for your configuration.
Input Delay Time (ms)
On->Off/Off->On
Use this feature to set a delay in responding to transitions useful for filtering out transients in noisy environments. Choose one of the following module groups that use Input Delay Times to select the values for your configuration.
OK
Click this button to accept your edits on any tab and close the dialog.
Cancel
Click this button to cancel your edits on any tab and close the dialog.
Apply
Click this button to apply your edits on any tab and continue editing.
If:
  • you are online in Program, Remote Program or Remote Run mode and,
  • this controller is the
    controller
    A device that controls machines or processes elements (for example, a programmable controller or relay panel).
    owner controller and,
  • you have changed the module’s configuration in the software,
when you click the Apply or the OK button, the information is automatically sent to the controller. The controller tries to send the information to the module (if the module’s connection is not inhibited). If you don’t click Apply, your changes are not sent to the controller.
Tip:
The connection to a FLEX I/O module using Rack communication cannot be inhibited. The ‘Inhibit’ checkbox on the Connection tab is disabled in this case.
