Transformers Tab

Use this tab to enter/configure the ratings for the voltage transformer and the current transformer.
Note that Bus B applies only if you have chosen a dual breaker synchronization configuration.
Parameters
Generator VT
Configuration
This value allows the CGCM module to automatically compensate for VT configuration phase shifts. Choose from:
  • Single Phase
    • Two Transformer Open-Delta
      • Three Wire Wye (default)
        • Four Wire Wye
Primary Voltage
Enter the primary voltage rating of the generator voltage transformer connected to V Gen A, V Gen B, and V Gen C of the CGCM module. Valid values range from 1.0 V to 30,000.0 V. The default value is 480.0 V.
Secondary Voltage
Enter the secondary voltage rating of the generator voltage transformer connected to V Gen A, V Gen B, and V Gen C of the CGCM module. Valid values range from 1.0 V to 240.0 V. The default value is 120.0 V.
Bus VT Configuration
This value allows the CGCM module to automatically compensate for VT configuration phase shifts. Choose from:
  • Single Phase
    • Two Transformer Open-Delta
      • Three Wire Wye (default)
        • Four Wire Wye
          • Dual Breaker
            Tip:
            For two breaker synchronizing, you must choose Dual Breaker.
Bus A VT
Primary Voltage
Enter the primary voltage rating of the bus voltage transformer connected to V Bus A, V Bus B, and V Bus C of the CGCM module. Valid values range from 1.0 V to 30,000.0 V. The default value is 480.0 V.
Secondary Voltage
Enter the secondary voltage rating of the bus voltage transformer connected to V Bus A, V Bus B, and V Bus C of the CGCM module. Valid values range from 1.0 V to 240.0 V. The default value is 120.0 V.
Bus B VT
Primary Voltage
Enter the primary voltage rating of the second bus voltage transformer connected to V Bus B and V Bus C of the CGCM module. Valid values range from 1.0 V to 30,000.0 V. The default value is 480.0 V.
Secondary Voltage
Enter the secondary voltage rating of the second bus voltage transformer connected to V Bus B and V Bus C of the CGCM module. Valid values range from 1.0 V to 240.0 V. The default value is 120.0 V.
Generator CT
Primary Current
Enter the primary current rating of the generator current transformer connected to the CGCM terminals I1, I2, and I3. This value is used for metering. Valid values range from 1.0 A to 60,000.0 A. The default value is 500.0 A.
Secondary Current
Enter the secondary current rating of the generator current transformer connected to the CGCM terminals I1, I2, and I3. This value is used for metering. Valid values range from 1.0 A to 5.0 A. The default value is 5.0 A.
Cross Current CT
Primary Current
Enter the primary current rating of the generator current transformer connected to the CGCM terminal ID. This value is used for monitoring generator reactive current in paralleling applications. Valid values range from 1.0 A to 60,000.0 A. The default value is 500.0 A.
Secondary Current
Enter the secondary current rating of the generator current transformer connected to the CGCM terminal ID. This value is used for monitoring generator reactive current in paralleling applications. Valid values range from 1.0 A to 5.0 A. The default value is 5.0 A.
