Calibration errors in High Reference or Low Reference 1756 analog input

If a calibration error occurs, check the wiring between the input channel and the calibration source to confirm that the correct signal is being applied. Select the
Retry
button to calibrate the high reference.
To exit a calibration when a channel is not calibrating, select
Stop
. The module Calibration Fault and the Channel Calibration Fault bits are set for any channels in error to indicate a potential channel failure. A channel that has a calibration error continues to operate with its old calibration parameters, but should be verified for proper operation. In this case, either the calibration equipment on the channel itself is bad.
