Calibration errors in High Reference or Low Reference (1756 analog output)

If a calibration error occurs:
  • Check the wiring to the output channel
  • Verify the correct signal is being measured
  • Verify that the values you entered are correct
After confirming the channel's signal is being measured properly, select the
Retry
button. Continued calibration errors may indicate a channel failure.
To exit a calibration when a channel is not calibrating, select
Stop
. If the calibration cancels with errors present, the module Calibration Fault and the Channel Calibration Fault bits are set for any channels in error to a potential channel failure. A channel that has a calibration error continues to operate with its old calibration parameters, but should be verified for proper operation. In this case, either the calibration equipment or the channel itself is bad.
