Configure 1756-M02AE Motion Modules

Use the default configuration supplied with ControlLogix 1756-M02AE motion modules or use the
RSLogix 5
 software features to configure a module specific to an application.
  • Accept default configuration for your module or
  • Write point level configuration specific to your application.
To configure a 1756-M02AE motion module
  1. Under the
    I/O Configuration
    folder in the controller organizer, position the cursor on the module to configure, and right click the mouse button to select
    Properties
    .
  2. Enter the configuration information. It is acceptable to use the default values for module and channels rather than write configuration that is specific to an application.
  3. Select
    OK
    to accept the changes and close the dialog box. It is also acceptable to configure a module when creating a module.
