Configure the 1756-IF4FXOF2F in Floating Point Mode

Create a channel-level configuration specific to your application.
To configure the 1756-IF4FXOF2F in floating point mode
  1. In the
    Controller Organizer
    , right-click the module and select
    Properties
    .
  2. On the
    Module Propertie
    s dialog, select the
    Configuration
    tab.
  3. Select the
    Channel
    button to select the channel to configure.
  4. Enter the appropriate scaling values for:
    • Low Signal
    • Low Engineering
    • High Signal
    • High Engineering
  5. In the
    Input Range
     box, select the desired input operating range.
  6. In the
    Digital Filter
    box, select the desired filter time constant, in milliseconds.
  7. In the
    RTS
     box, enter the Real Time Sample period, in milliseconds.
  8. Select
    Apply
    to save the changes and continue editing, or select
    OK
    to save the changes and close the dialog.
