Configure the 1756-IR6I in Floating Point Mode

To configure the 1756-IR6I in floating point mode:
  1. Select the channel button to configure the desired channel.
  2. Enter the appropriate scaling values for:
    • Low Signal
    • Low Engineering
    • High Signal
    • High Engineering
  3. Select the up and down arrow in the
    RTS
    box to enter the
    Real Time Sample
    period.
  4. Select the desired temperature scale button.
  5. Select the down arrow to select the desired input operating range.
  6. Select the down arrow to select a sensor.
  7. Enter the appropriate offset value for the calibration bias.
  8. Select the down arrow in the
    Notch Filter
    box to select the desired filter frequency.
  9. Select the up and down arrow in the
    Digital Filter
    box to select the desired filter time constant.
  10. Select the up and down arrow in the 10 Ohm
    Copper Offset
    box to select a value to add compensation for the copper input.
  11. Select
    OK
    to save the changes and close the dialog.
