Scaling Equation

Scaling explanation
A simple example is scaling a V
in
signal with:LowSignal = -10.0 (V)
HighSignal = 10.0 (V)
LowEngineering = 0.0 (%)
HighEngineering = 100.0 (%)
You want to scale the input signal, volts, into percentages which are the engineering units useful for the process. Such a scaling will convert -10.0 volts into 0.0%, 10.0 volts into 100.0%, and intermediate values accordingly such as 3.3 volts into 66.5%.
