Use Coordinated System Time to Timestamp I/O

Use Coordinated System Time (CST) to timestamp inputs and scheduled outputs.
  1. Choose a communications format for each input and output module that allows timestamping.
    TIP:
If you need additional information about choosing a communications format, please refer to the
ControlLogix Digital I/O Modules (1756-Series) User Manual
    .
  2. Ensure that a controller is in the same rack as both I/O modules.
  3. Disable the Change of State for all input points on the input module except for the point being timestamped.
