Start FLEX I/O Analog Module Calibration

You should not perform calibration on a module currently used for control. The calibration process will impair control.
Before starting the calibration process:
  • Stop the process your output module is controlling.
  • Apply any configuration changes using the Apply button.
  • Inhibit the module’s connection (via the Connection tab Inhibit checkbox).
  • Disconnect input signals and connect test signals. Any type of control dependent on the normal input signals from this module does not have them during calibration.
  • Disconnect output signals and connect the appropriate measuring instrument. Any control system dependent on the outputs from this module, do not have them during calibration.
To start the calibration process:
  1. Position the cursor on the module you want to calibrate.
  2. Right click the mouse button and select Properties.
  3. Select the Connection tab.
  4. Check the Inhibit checkbox.
  5. Click the Apply button if you made any configuration changes.
  6. Select the Calibration tab.
  7. Determine which channels you want to calibrate. Uncheck the channels, in the Calibrate This Channel checkbox, that you do not want to calibrate.
