An open control network that uses the producer/consumer model to combine the functionality of an I/O network and a peer-to-peer network, while providing high-speed performance for both functions.
This adapter connects the FLEX I/O system to the ControlNet Network with redundant media capability. It can interface 128 I/O (8 FLEX I/O modules) to a ControlNet PLC controller across a ControlNet network. By using this adapter, you can gain all of the benefits of FLEX I/O. It contains a built-in power supply that converts 24V DC to 5V DC for the backplane to power the FLEX I/O modules. This adapter supports the entire line of FLEX I/O modules.
