5720 Controller
This controller is an integration of a PowerFlex 700S drive controller, a Logix controller, a NetLinx card socket, and a Flex I/O adapter, connected via a virtual backplane.
The virtual backplane is 4 slots in size. The slots can contain module types as follows:

Parameters for this drive are configured via the DriveTools 2000, including parameters for the

Local I/O exists for control of the motor, however it is not accessible to the Logix controller. In addition, four DPI ports exist for additional connectivity, though there is no bridging to the controller through the drive.
3
FlexBus virtual adapter. This is the 1794 virtual adapter, created by default upon controller file creation. This adapter allows the controller to access Flex modules on the local rail, and cannot be deleted.
