Measure Output Gain and Record Values - FLEX I/O Calibration

To measure the output gain and record its value:
gain
The ratio of the magnitude of the output signal with respect to that of the input signal.
In a linear equation (y=mx+b), the parameter (m) is used to drive the dependent variable (y) to a specified value when the independent variable (x) is at a maximum.
  1. Measure the voltages of the channels by using a multimeter.
  2. Enter the value, for each channel, in the
    Recorded Reference (Volts)/(mA)
    column.
  3. Select
    Next
to see the results of the output gain calibration.
The software uses the value entered, calculates the error correction and sends the correction to the module.
You may also select:
  • Retry
if an error occurs and you need to repeat a step in the calibration process.
    TIP:
This button is only enabled when an error occurs.
  • Stop
to cancel calibration and exit the calibration.
  • Help
