Parameters
Transmitted Direct Words
Allows you to specify the source for each direct word selected by the Transmit Comm Format. The pull-down menus on this dialog are individually enabled, depending on the number of direct words indicated.
TIP:
If no Direct Transmit words exist, then this tab will not appear
The pull-down menus may consist of the following options:
  • Received Direct Word <n>
    - Word <n> is to be passed directly from the Receive port to the Transmit port as transmit word <n>, where <n> is the word number and must match the transmitted direct word number. This option is available for direct word <n> only when the Receive Port Comm Format includes direct word <n>.
  • Multiplier
    - Receive port word <n> is to be multiplied by the multiplier in the output tag, and the product passed to the Transmit port as transmitted word <n>. Note that only one word can use the multiplier function. If it is selected for one word, the option is removed from the pull-down menus for the other words. This option is available for direct word <n> only when the Receive Port Comm Format includes direct word <n>.
  • Output DirectData[<n>]
    - The value of DirectData[<n>] from the output tag associated with this module is to be written to the transmit port as transmitted word <n>, where <n> is the word number and must match the transmitted direct word number. This is the default option.
