The module could not be found

There was a problem communicating with the module. Check if:
  • an incorrect slot was configured for the module
  • the module created in the software does not exist on the network at the address specified in the software, or communication to the module was lost
  • the module has a major fault
  • a bridge module has been configured for an incorrect slot, it has faulted, or communication to it was lost
  • RSLinx Classic
     or
    FactoryTalk Linx
     is not running
  • The
    RSLinx Classic
     driver is a TCP driver configured to use an Ethernet Bridge as the server, and if this Ethernet Bridge is in the path from the controller to the module; use an Ethernet driver instead.
