Monitor ladder logic
Monitor your ladder logic program to see how it executes during run time. When the project is switched from program mode to run mode each portion of the logic is assessed. This allows you to visually step through the program logic and see how it is handling the data inputs and outputs.
Before you begin
Before monitoring logic, complete these tasks:
- Created a project
- Configured inputs and outputs
- Entered, saved, and verified program logic
- Downloaded project to a controller
To monitor ladder logic
- Switch the controller to Run mode.
- Double-click the main routine to open the Ladder Editor.View your program logic being processed.The active rungs glow and value change as the controller executes the routine.
